CS020- CareRide
CareRide is one of our unique recycling projects so far, where we collected bicycles that were new or used, but which were not being used by the owners/ kids. donors came forward to donate the bicycles from all corners of the island and our dedicated team of volunteers collected them at our CS office/ collection center.
Later the volunteer team fixed, upgraded, & serviced all the bikes as required , and distributed them among some selected deserving kids.
01 bike given to a deserving boy from Panadura.
05 bikes donated to girls at Pearls of Paradise Care Home in Kandy.
07 bikes given to students of Tri/K/ Peramaduwa Vidyalaya , Agbopura, Kantale.
Principal of the Peramaduwa Vidyalaya was so happy and excited about it and he published a newspaper article also about the project.
